New York, NY -- Olympic silver medallist goalie, Gao Hong, recently joined the NY Power team of the Women's United Soccer Association. Previously, she played for the China national team where she led China to gold medals in the 1993, 1995 and 1997 Asian Women's Championship and won silver at the Atlanta Olympics and FIFA 1999 Women's World Cup. Hong will join Rocky Chin, a First District City Council candidate, to call for recreational facilities and greater access to sports programs for youth in New York City.
